"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco"

Since some people are under the impression that the whole state of California is warm, let me make a few points:
  • The only people who wear shorts here are tourists.
  • It hasn't really rained the whole month I've been here, Its sorta like a heavy mist/light dizzle.
  • Its really, really, really foggy.
  • The city consists of a bunch of micro-climates, meaning its freezing in Sunset where I am and I'll go to work a mere few miles away and its warm and sunny.
  • I keep hearing about this Indian Summer, which is the warmest time of the year (August-October). Just maybe, I'll be able to wear a tank top!
  • What is humidity again?

But, this weather suits me. I hate shorts and I don't sweat my butt off in pants or capris like I do on the east coast. And I've survived enough winters that I can get through a cold morning without gloves and a scarf when its 50 degrees.

And this is the end of my PSA.

Sara Evans/Sugarland, Something More, same difference!
And rain/cool weather/no shorts/capris, maybe I should rethink the whole Texas/Middle East thing. Do you see pretty blue water everyday like they have in Corpus Christi?
